About us

Animate is a community arts company that produces and runs art workshops and projects for schools and the community. The animate team are professional artists-in-education, who have an extensive background in different art forms including painting, drawing, sculpture, murals, textiles, music, drama and movement, performance, storytelling, creative writing and lighting...to name a few!

Animate works in creative ways to build self-esteem, confidence and respect through positive experiences for all those who are involved in the project. They work with groups and individuals, whether adults or children, from all backgrounds and levels of ability and confidence in the Arts, and help to stimulate the imagination and offer new ways of expressing ideas and realising creative voices.

Animate arts company ltd is a not-for-profit company, registered as a limited company by guarantee, supported by a board of directors.
